About Erin

My life has revolved largely around anything creative. I’ve studied graphic design, painting, art history and photography. I’ve also spent a great portion of my life dedicated to Ballet training and some teaching.

2003 saw me graduate from CPIT with a Diploma in Interior Design. After this I spent time employed by several retailers in the home decorating industry allowing me to further my qualifications. I worked hard expanding my job descriptions until I was managing the decorating department and running the soft furnishings workroom of a local decorating business.

I then spent some time traveling away from New Zealand. I’ve been fortunate enough to visit around the UK, Europe, the South Pacific, Asia and the United States of America. I still have dreams of visiting Africa, South America and the Antarctic.

After returning from my travels I felt it the right time to commit to a new adventure. With great support from Family and friends, and many industry professionals I embarked on becoming an independent Interior Designer.

I have developed relationships with local suppliers and manufacturers to ensure I can provide endless decorating solutions. This coupled with an ongoing passion and enthusiasm for my profession has delighted my clients.

The purpose of Erin Brookman Interior Design is to provide you with an enjoyable, personal home decorating experience. I am dedicated to delivering you a professional service that is based on communication and empathy with my clients.
